Perfect Day
This peony opens a predominantly medium dusky pink with occasional patches of a light yellow/cream. An occasional flower will open in a wholly yellow/cream colouration. All the flowers will then gradually fade to all yellow/cream as they age both on the bush or in the vase. This fully double flower opens 1-2 weeks after the first Red Charm (mid/late by A.P.S registration criteria) and is about 160mm (6.5") in diameter. This plant performs very well in the garden, being strong-stemmed, healthy, vigorous and showy. It is relatively tall at 1000 mm (40") mature height. It also appears to cut well.
