These two photos show this variety at different stages - as it opens and when it is open. Very fine spots of pink give this full double a predominantly pink colouration on first opening, but the petal margins are only beige yellow, and the outer petals have less pink, giving overall a beautiful "frosted" glowing effect. As the flower ages the pink fades by variable degrees. Flower size is up to 180 mm in diameter, plant height at maturity is about 900mm. An herbaceous hybrid, timing is very late. Healthy and vigorous, this plant requires support for garden display, but is particularly beautiful in the vase.
